Mid Term Reflection

I think I have been good with my attendance. I have only missed two days and that was when I was sick. I am usually on task in class but sometimes I need a reminder. My self regulation is good i'm not always off task. I am mostly in class conversations saying what I think but I sometimes try to hide and not be in them. I am new to twitter and I had no idea how to use it I have kind of got used to it with the help of my twitter partner Arman. I don't really tweet a lot because i'm new to it but ill get better as we get more into the Romeo and Juliet play. I think in the first category I deserve 22%.

When it comes to assignments I have done almost all of them I have published and turned in ten assignments and I think their is only 10 that had to be written in our blogs and turned in. That's not including the literary term that we wrote on Google Docs. I think i deserve 25% in this category.

Some of my assignments I put a lot of effort in but some I kind of didn't. My best assignments were probably the Myers-Briggs personality test write up and the Tattoo assignment. Especially the tattoo assignment i worked really hard on that one. Some of my work is good compared to others and some are really bad compared to others like the opinion on being content and the to a stranger blogs which were probably my worst. I think I deserve 20% in this category.

When the year started i didnt comment on other peoples blogs and i didnt really contribute in class conversations but I have started to comment a lot more in class conversations and others blogs. In this category I think I deserve 15%.

In total I think I deserve 82% in english 10 so far.

  1. Solid reflection Ryan. I sense the very things you include here about growing comfortable with the tech but more importantly with the structure of our class. It can be hard to flip from a competition model in class to a cooperative one. You will find the more you comment and joint the conversation the more meaningful and enjoyable it will be become… and you may even forget you are learning. :) Your writing still has a colloquial feel, so I am looking forward to seeing your more formal responses to R+J to see if you can add the academic element.
