What is Love? Benvolio's Point of View
("Alas, that love, so gentle in his view, Should be so tyrannous and rough in proof!") It is unfortunate that Romeo's gentle offer of love is given back by a mean tyrant. I think love can be awesome sometimes but can be a pain sometimes too. Mostly I think love is awesome, it is an amazing thing. You don't have to stay with the same girl all the time either! I don't get why Romeo won't just find another girl there are so many others, he should stop chasing and being sad about Rosaline and just find another girl. I know it must be tough to not be loved by the girl you like but you have to get over it and move on. Marriage is dumb you don't need to get married you can just have sex with a whole bunch of girls not just one. Right now in my life i'm just looking for sex and girlfriends, i'm not really looking for a long relationship, I will worry about that later in my life when i'm ready to get married. I think eventually i will probably get married but right now I don't want to think about it because life right now is awesome and there are a lot of hot girls and i can't just stay with one. That's my opinion on love FGGM.

ReplyDeleteGreat start! I can't see the video Kirat references? I wonder… Is having sex/girlfriends the same as "Love"? What is the difference? How do you know? When or why should you start looking for love instead of sex? Or should you ever?
ReplyDeleteI like how you give an example from the play. I like how you show that he isn't about marriage, and he just has a different girl all the time.
